![]() ![]() I cannot recall right now but will give it fresh try if that info ins needed. When I first started I may have had it working under NAPS2. Without considering GIMP they two side x side work well. I need the flatbed for documents that may not survive the sheet-feeding. How would that work under Linux? The project is so large that it might justify a new Linux machine? Is it possible to connect it directly to GIMP? I also have a HP entry level sheet fed scanner. If push comes to shove I could use it, but it is so old I may need to run it under an older version of GIMP? How would that work? Posing the question as a driver issue, xSANE plugin,ĭo you think I could get GIMP to recognize a digital camera (also Canon)? Would I need different drivers? Different procedures? I tried it first looking for hits on the LIDE 400 but none turned up. Given the comment about Windows 10 compatibility I will post a question to the 10 Windows Forum. I plug the scanner into it then route that output to the box. The scanner worked okay with a short usb cable but not a long one. ![]() What may have been the problem was my start- up problem. GIMP is my first attempt.I have not had any problems with their app. So far I have not had a needed to try it with any software. ![]()
